Sarah "Jo" Mahaffey, wife of the late William "Tom" Mahaffey, passed away on September 30, 2023.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of Ralph and Etta Abercrumbie Childress.

Jo worked for Stone Manufacturing as a seamstress for 35 years. She was a member of Poe Baptist Church. In her free time, Jo had a passion for shopping, especially at T.J.Maxx and her local thrift stores. Above all else, Jo loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Jo is survived by her daughter Melissa Garrett (James). She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Jamie Garrett (Haley) and Joshua Garrett; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a loving sister Connie Owens.

In honoring Sarah's life, a visitation will be held on October 5th, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Robinson Funeral Home Downtown, located at 305 West Main Street in Easley, South Carolina. This will be followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the same location.
