Sarah Traber Smith, 82, of Easley, wife of the late Melton Smith, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Greenwood.
Born March 11, 1932 in Calera, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Sallie Mae Coker Long. Mrs. Smith retired from Libco and attended Victory Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Denise Doud (Denny) and William "Danny" Traber (Debbie); brothers, H.B. Long and Buford Long; grandchildren, Stacy Clark (Chris), Katie Doud and Will Traber (Kristen); great-grandchildren, Gracie Clark, and Luke Clark.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of Pickens County, PO Box 184, Easley, SC 29641 or Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Dr., Greenwood, SC 29646.
