Scott Alan Bargelt, born on April 10, 1959, in Maryland, passed away on September 24, 2024. He is remembered for his remarkable work ethic along with a passion for learning and creativity that inspired those around him.
Scott's life was characterized by a profound dedication to his interests and pursuits. He had a deep love for listening to music, delving into books, watching football, and studying computers, which provided him both joy and knowledge throughout his life. He was a proud member of the Society of Creative Anachronism, where he embraced his love of history and creativity, contributing to the community in meaningful ways.
He is survived by his son, William Mitchell Bargelt II, who carries forward Scott's legacy and values; and extended family in Florida and Maryland.
Scott is preceded in death by his cherished wife, Carole Connor Bargelt; parents, William Mitchell and Sue Bargelt; and sister, Vivien Viola Vos (Stan).
Scott's presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through the countless memories and experiences he shared with his family and friends. As we remember Scott, we honor the hardworking and passionate individual he was, whose lifelong interests and dedication had a positive impact on those fortunate enough to have crossed his path.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, October 10th at 11:00 AM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
