Mr. Scott Lee Mims, 55, husband of Nadine Dotson Mims, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 from complications of COVID.
Born in Fayetteville, NC, the son of Karen Spurlin Mims of Mauldin and the late Hazel Elbert Mims, Jr., Mr. Mims was a graduate of Wren High School and was employed with Sealed Air Corporation. He was a member of Life Church, Piedmont.
Scott was a gear head that loved classic cars and boating, but his greatest love was for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of twenty-six years, are his sons, Logan Bryson of the home, William Kenneth Smith (Casey) of Pickens, and Michael Treadway (Wendi) of Piedmont; his daughter, Jennifer Hayes (Rodney) of Liberty; his sister, Dawn Mims Billings of Mauldin; his grandchildren, Kady Hayes, Samuel Hayes, Sadie Smith, and Rozalenn Treadway; and his niece and nephew, Abigail Billings and Graham Billings.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday, December 12, 2021 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family requests that social distancing be observed and if you feel ill, please stay home and take care of yourself.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. The family requests that attendees wear his favorite color blue to honor him.
Memorials may be made in memory of Scott to Bridge Center Recovery of Anderson County in honor of Help Meet Recovery.
