Scott Mote, 54, passed away July 2, 2024. Born January 19, 1970 to the late Emmett LaGardner Mote Sr. and Ellie M. Bridges. 

Scott enjoyed life to the fullest, he was tough and fun loving. He could fix anything he put his hands on. He traveled all over the United States working as a Pipe Fitter before retiring from Duke Energy. He had a passion for local grass roots racing. He spent his weekends at the local track with his son and brothers.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his son Mitchell Mote (Jessie) of Easley; three brothers Emmett Mote of Summerville, Mike Mote (April) of Easley, Marty Mote of Easley; and two grandchildren, McCoy Mote and Montana Mote. In addition to his father, Scott was predeceased by a brother, Todd Mote. 

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
