Mr. Scott Richardson Wallace, 63, of Salem, SC, formerly of Milwaukee, WI, loving husband of Debbie, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital - Downtown.

Scott was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 8, 1952 to the late Henry and Nancy Michael Wallace.  He loved  his family and friends, his work, and was a great athlete, enjoying golf, tennis and skiing.

Scott earned his B.S. in Business from Arizona State University and subsequently enjoyed a successful career in the insurance industry spanning more than 30 years. He retired in May of 2015 after serving as President of Homeowners Choice Property & Casualty Insurance Company. Prior roles include President, CEO and Executive Director of Citizens Property Insurance Corporation and various executive roles at member companies of W.R. Berkley Corporation. Throughout his career, Scott greatly enjoyed the relationships he developed with people. 

In addition to his loving wife, Scott is survived by two sons; John Wallace (Shelly), of Madison, WI; and Jeffrey Wallace of Stateline, NV; a daughter-in-law; Amanda Wallace; and three brothers; Peter Wallace (Sally), of Bonita Springs, FL.; Jeffrey Wallace (Fran), and Mike Wallace (Mary), both of Milwaukee, WI. Scott is also survived by seven grandchildren; Logan Wallace, Thatcher Wallace, Hannah Wallace, Addisyn Wallace, Breanna Westberry, Tyler Westberry, and Jonathan Burhans; and fourteen nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by a son; Brian Wallace; and a brother; John Wallace.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 8, 2016 in the Chapel of The Chimes at Wisconsin Memorial Park. A private family interment will follow.

Following the service, friends are invited to attend a gathering at the Town Club, 7950 N Santa Monica Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53217.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Lakewood Presbyterian Church, 2001 University Blvd. W, Jacksonville, Florida, 32217, with luncheon to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Francis Hospital, Attn: St. Francis Foundation, One St. Francis Drive, Greenville, SC 29601. Please designate your donation to be applied to the Cancer Center.
