Selena Brown Lockaby, 96, beloved wife of the late Raymond Carl Lockaby, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026, at her home.

Born in Easley on June 14, 1930, to the late JB and Lettie Weaver Brown.

Mrs. Lockaby was a graduate of Easley High School and worked several years for Sir Shirtmakers in Pickens. She was a longtime member of Corinth Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, growing beautiful flowers and arranging them, and she was an avid reader.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Jill Smith of Easley and Gage Smith (Marti) of Anderson; a great-grandson, Eamon Smith; her son-in-law, Tommy Smith of Easley; and her sister, Linda Massey of Greenwood.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her children, Vicki Smith and Phyllis Harville (Kevin); and her siblings, James Brown, Billy Brown, Evelyn Pridmore, and Mary Roberts.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 595 Old Liberty Road, Easley, SC 29640.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pickens County Meals on Wheels, 349 Edgemont Avenue, Liberty, SC 29657.
