Seth Tobias Edward Butts

Seth Tobias Edward Butts, 14, passed away, Sunday, May 5, 2019.

Seth was born in Oconee County, the son of Charles Edward and Karen Dillard Butts of the home. He was an eighth grade student at R. C. Edwards Middle School. Seth loved participating in all Marine Corps League activities, loved the outdoors including fishing and hunting, played the violin and was formerly in the cub scouts.

Surviving in addition to his parents are brother, Scott Butts (Tracy) of Westminster; sister, Sheila Butts Miller (Schanen) of Prosperity; maternal grandmother, Barbara Dillard of Central; Uncle, Kevin Dillard of Central; nephews, Derrick Chariker and Andrew Chariker; nieces, Bailey Chariker, Siara Shelton and Savannah Shelton; and his special friend, Jacques Macy of Fairplay.

Memorial services will be 3 PM, Wednesday in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with his brother, Rev. Scott Butts officiating. The Marine Corps League will provide military honors.

The family will receive friends from 2 - 3 PM, Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family will be at the home of Eleanor Butts Watson, 712 Evelyn Drive, Seneca, SC 29678.
