Mrs. Sharon Case Barnwell, 43, of 101 Hunting Trail, wife of Jerry Lee Barnwell, passed away Wednesday morning, April 25, 2012 at Elizabeth House.
Born May 7, 1968 in Henderson County, she was the youngest daughter of the late Clifford and Edith Parris Case. Sharon earned an Associate Degree from Blue Ridge Community College. As Director of Materials Management at Park Ridge Health with over twenty-one years of service, she held a special place in the hearts of her co-workers. Sharon and her husband Jerry were inseparable. They enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, church and quiet times together. She treasured and loved all the times spent with family especially Sunday lunches.
In addition to her husband of ten years, she is survived by her sisters, Linda Thomas (Eddie) of Saluda and Joyce Biddix of Hendersonville; special niece, Stephanie Biddix and special nephew Tyler Thomas; step-children, Jan Orr (Steve) and Jason Barnwell (Dinae); grandchildren, Eric Stanford and Torri Stanford.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Case.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, April 27, 2012 at Hendersonville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Andy Craver and Rev. Keith Hannon officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM Friday prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731 or flowers should be delivered Friday morning to Hendersonville Pentecostal Holiness Church.
