Sherry Duncan Green

Sharon Lee “Sherry” Green, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2023, after a brief illness. 
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Sherry was the daughter of the late Dewey Fred Duncan and Mary Adola Willimon Duncan. She was retired from Garrett’s Department Store where she was a salesclerk and was a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church, Liberty, SC. 

Sherry is survived by her husband of 60 years, David R. Green; a daughter, Kimbel Kelley (Dr. Jeff Kelley); grandsons, Brendan Kelley (Dr. Alicia Kelley) and Elliott Kelley; a great-granddaughter, “the sweetest baby” Audrey Grace Kelley; a yet to meet great-grandchild expected to arrive mid-summer; a “special granddaughter” Brooklee Hawkins; sisters, Deborah Wheeler (Terry) and Maxine Towe; nieces/nephew, Candi Phillips, Terri Wheeler-Hawkins (Rick); Fredda Haley (Kenny); Holly Towe; Amanda Wheeler; Joe Towe (Jessica). In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a sister Tibby Pitts and a niece Molly Vincent (Mark).

Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023, at 3:30 PM at Grace Baptist Church, 930 N. Old Pendleton Rd, Liberty, SC with burial to immediately follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens in Easley, SC. The family will receive friends at the church, from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM prior to the service. Dr. Jeff Kelley will officiate the funeral. Pallbearers are Brendan Kelley, Elliott Kelley, Reagan Chase Kelley, Jason Kelley, J. Stanley Nalley and Robert Ryggs. 

The family is at the home of the daughter.
