Sharon Horton Langston

Sharon Horton Langston, 81, wife of David Langston, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

Born October 13, 1943, in Clinchco, VA, she was a daughter of the late Grover "Ed" and Gaynelle Turner Horton.

Remembered for her exceptional cooking skills, Sharon had a particular talent for preparing delicious fried foods and crafting homemade birthday cakes for each celebration. Sharon also enjoyed spending time with her beloved family doing activities such as fishing.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, David Langston, along with their sons Michael, Deryl "JD," Ryan, and Chad Langston, and their only daughter, Sheri. She is also survived by her fourteen beloved grandchildren.

A graveside service honoring her memory will take place at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Liberty, South Carolina, on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
