Sharon Hughes Nix, 50, of 1263 Old Liberty Road, died Thursday, November 20, 2008, at her daughter's home.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late William Alvin Hughes and the late Ollie Finley Hughes McCall, Mrs. Nix was formerly employed with Central Textiles and was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
Suriving are her husband, Robert Nix of the home; her daughter, Melissa Wood and husband, Geoff of Easley; two brothers, Monta Hughes and Gary Hughes, both of Easley; and a sister, Shelby Jean Smith of Easley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nix was predeceased by three brothers, William Hughes, Jimmy Ray Hughes and Michael Hughes, and by a sister, Sara Lusk.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Charlie Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Melissa and Geoff Wood, 171 Enon Church Road, Easley, SC 29640.
