Sharon Keown Overstreet

June 21, 1951 — January 25, 2015

Mrs. Sharon Keown Overstreet, 63, of 2210 East Lee Road, Taylors, loving wife of William "Steve" Overstreet, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Overstreet was born in Ohio on June 21, 1951 to Albert James Keown. Her mother passed away when Sharon was young, and her father married her step-mother, the late Jane Veteto Keown. She graduated from Wade Hampton High School, and attended one year of Business School. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed traveling to Florida to see her family. Sharon was also an excellent artist. She was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her husband of 39 wonderful years and her father, Sharon is survived by two daughters; Bethany Haskell and her husband Jay of Tampa, Fla., and Jennifer Avery and her husband Ray of Greenville, SC; a brother; Jimmy Keown and his wife Stephanie of Bradenton, Fla.; a sister; Betty Lou Keown of Bradenton, Fla.; and one grandchild; Koralyn Saitow.

In addition to her mother and step-mother, Sharon was preceded in death by a sister; Rebecca Keown.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley SC 29642, with the Rev. Paul Jagoe officiating. Interment will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends following the committal service at Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley SC 29642.

The family is at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Journey Hospice, 665 North Academy Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
