Sharon Blalock Rutz

Sharon Blalock Rutz, 64, wife of Don William Rutz, Sr., of Easley, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Born in Easley, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jack "Frosty" and Dorothy Vivian Holder Blalock. 

She worked as a accountant at D&Z Construction. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and Enon Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling to the beach, specifically Myrtle Beach.

She is survived by her loving husband; Don Rutz, Sr., her daughter; Heather Marie Green (Jamie), her step-daughter; Tina Marie Hutto (Matthew), her step-son; Don William Rutz Jr. (Amanda), her brother Roger Allen Blalock (Sharon), her grandchildren; Sarah Lashae Ahern, Matthew Tyler Rutz, Joanna Renee Rutz, Sierra Cheyeene Fletcher, and Candice Leigh Ann Howard, her great-grandchildren; James "Jack" Fletcher Jr., Anastasia Fletcher, Hayden Rutz, and Athena Ahern; and her dog, Rascal.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2023 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
