Sheila Mae O'Brien Noonan, 77, of 181 E. Queen Street and wife of James M. Noonan, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at her home.

Born in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret Crane O'Brien. Sheila attended Knox College in Galesburg, IL and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 1975 from Ohio University in Athens, OH. She was an abstract painter and has several of her collections on display in locations in Soho, NY, Columbus, OH and Anderson, SC. She was a member of the Anderson Arts League and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Patrick Noonan of Columbus, IN, Christopher (Susan) Noonan of Lakeland, FL, and Sean B. Noonan of Jacksontown, OH; daughter, Shannon Lynn (Randy) Brown of Evans, GA; daughter-in-law, Karen Noonan of Riverview, FL; brother, James (June) O'Brien of Galesburg, IL; sister, Patricia (Ron) Kidder of Gulfport, FL; grandchildren, Sheila M. Fisher, Joshua J. Noonan, Timothy Noonan, Holly Brown, Michael Brown, Taylor Noonan, Sean Noonan, Abigail Noonan, Andrew Noonan and Seth Noonan; and great-grandson, James Noonan.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, James R. Noonan; and an infant daughter, Briget Noonan.

The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 AM, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Clemson.
