Shelby Jean Looney Moon, 75, of Easley, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late James C. Looney and Jessie Edna Welborn Looney.

Mrs. Moon retired from Michelin Tire in Greenville. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed reading, cooking, cleaning, and making her famous churned ice cream for her family.

Surviving are her children, Wayne Shepherd (Sandra) of Greenville, Sandra G. Moore (Terry Byers) of Easley, and Greg Shepherd (Leslie) of Easley; grandchildren, Austin, Cassidy, Stephanie, Rachael, Parker, Ashton, and Preston; step-grandchildren, Mercedez, Beige and Devon; step-great-grandchildren, Noah, Abby, and Lucas; a sister, Sue Lyles of Greenville; and brothers, William Looney of Myrtle Beach and John Looney of Greenville.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, James Looney.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 PM in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
