Shelby Hawkins Shehan, 73, of 120 Maxton Way, wife of the late Paul Richard Shehan passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at the home of her daughter.
Born August 26, 1938 in Cleveland County, NC, she was a daughter of the late John Ken and Addie Lee Edwards Hawkins.
Mrs. Shehan is survived by her daughters, Tressia Johnson and Jaymie Dameron; sister, Frances Emory; brothers, Glen, Ray, Willie, Chivous and Boyd Hawkins; son-in-law, Joe Duncan; daughter-in-law, Herbilene Shehan, four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Hershel Lee Shehan.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Gospel Way Baptist Church, 3904 Tryon Court House Rd (Hwy 274) Cherryville, NC with Rev. Kyeth Lindsey, Mr. Johnny Hefner and Mr. Todd Martin officiating.
The Family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
