Sherry Carlene Roach (Garner), 75, of Easley, South Carolina, passed away on March 27, 2024, at McCall Hospice House after a short battle with cancer.
Sherry was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She adored spending time with her family and friends. She loved to laugh, play games, entertain, shop, and share her faith in Jesus with everyone.
She is survived by her husband Ted W. Roach, daughters Kellie E. Owings (Sean) and Ashley C. Reddick (Trevor), six grandchildren, Connor E. Weekley (Evin), Wyatt R. Owings, Crawford H. Owings, Weston J. Reddick, Addison M. Reddick, and Hudson W. Reddick, as well as her sister Deborah V. Porter (Gene). Sherry was preceded in death by her father Rayvan C. Vickers and mother Reba W. Vickers.
Sherry attended Rock Hill High School and later pursued higher education at Charlotte Business School. Throughout her career, she worked as a talented bookkeeper at the Museum of York County, the YMCA and several churches in the upstate area. She was a real estate agent for Barnes Real Estate and later in life was a receptionist at Easley Baptist Hospital.
She worshipped at Brushy Creek Baptist Church and found joy in encouraging others, traveling, and telling everyone about God's faithfulness in her life.
A memorial service will be held at Brushy Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM, followed by a celebration of Sherry's life in the Jack Stewart Room at the church.
