Shirley Ann Reid Bailey, 79, beloved wife of the late Maynard Daniel Bailey, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
Born in Transylvania, NC, she was a daughter of the late "Daddy Lawrence" James Lawrence Reid and "Mama Reid" Edna Lowe Reid.
Mrs. Bailey loved spending time with her family. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, working in her flower garden and traveling.
Surviving are her children, Candie Carroll (Corey) of Simpsonville, Rusty Reid (Susan) of Marietta, Danny Reid (Rhonda) of Rising Star, TX, Michael Boyd (Troy) of Gaffney, and Wendi Miller of Taylors; grandchildren, Corey Jr., Courtney, Cameryn, Jordan, Mallory, Josh, Nevaeh, Tristen, and Jayden; great grandchildren, Jacson and Garrett Walker, Madielyn Councell, Koda, Able and August Carroll, Skylar McMahan and a little girl on the way in June 2022; and sisters, Polly Juanita Boyd of Marietta and Rebecca Stockl of Kingsport, TN.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Laws.
The family will receive friends Saturday March 19, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Sunday at Bailey Family Cemetery, Bailey Drive, Marietta, SC 29661.
