Shirley Bonita Bell

Shirley Bonita Cobb Bell, wife of the late Robert Holland Bell, passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 66.

 Born on October 27, 1958, Shirley was a daughter of the late J.R. and Helen Shirley Cobb. 

Shirley had a passion for crafts, and would spend her time crocheting, and completing various needlework projects. She also found great joy in card games, especially Rummy. 

Throughout her life Shirley was known to be incredibly generous. She would spend her younger years offering friendship to members at the local senior center, and would spend her time volunteering.

Shirley is survived by her son Joseph Bell and his wife Amy Bell of Shreveport, LA; her brothers John and Mike Cobb; and her sisters Myra Davis and Charlotte Babson. 

In addition to her husband of 25 years and her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her brother Roger Owen. 

A graveside service in honor of Shirley will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery 586 Issaqueena Trail, Central, SC 29630.
