Shirley Mae Burrell

Shirley Mae Burrell, 76, wife of the late Charles Erby Burrell, Sr., of Easley, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Ony and Elsie Pressley Allen.

Mrs. Burrell was a member of New Life Baptist Church, Greenville and previously attended Wayside Church, Easley.

Mrs. Burrell is survived by sons, Robert Burrell (Paula) of Anderson and Dean Burrell (Kimberly Martin) of Easley; a daughter, Diane Browning of Liberty; brothers, David Allen of Travelers Rest and Jake Allen of Greenville; grandchildren, Angela Hayes (Dusty), Brittany Hannah, Stephanie Holcombe (Dustin), Brooklyn and Braden Lynch, and Nala Powell; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband of 55 years, she was preceded in death by sons, Charles E. Burrell, Jr. and Rusty Burrell; and a sister, Louise Nix.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2023 at the funeral home.
