Shirley Ann Medlin Chappell, 80, of Easley, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late James Edward Medlin and Frances Louise Adcox Medlin.

Mrs. Chappell was retired from Engineered Custom Plastics after 18 years of dedicated service. Prior to working at ECP, she was employed with Alice Manufacturing, Ellison Plant. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She enjoyed Cross stitching, Plastic Canvas and solving word search puzzles.

Surviving are her children, Teresa Kuykendall (Wayne) of Liberty and Michael Chappell (Debra) of Pickens; grandchildren, Brittany Kuykendall, Jessica Kuykendall, Michael Lee Chappell and Chelsea Chappell; one of the joys of her life, a great granddaughter, Kaylee Grace Kuykendall; and two sisters, Dorothy King of Pickens and Mary Snipes Nix of Liberty.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Houston Medlin and Tommy Medlin.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 4, 2022, from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the service to follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Scroll to the video player below to view the service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
