Shirley Hardegree Corwin, 80, of Easley, and wife of the late William Wirt Corwin, passed away Wednesday October 9, 2013 at McCall Hospice House.
Mrs. Corwin was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Joseph Jackson and Susie Jeannette Rutledge Hardegree. She retired as a registered nurse and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, David Rutledge Corwin, of Travelers Rest; four daughters, Kimberly Ann Corwin and Kathy Lynn Corwin, both of Greenville, Sally Elizabeth Hall and Pamela JoAnn Redding, both of Easley; a brother, Joseph Lamar Hardegree, of Charlotte, NC; 9 grandchildren, Elizabeth Smith, Chance Corwin, Joseph Redding, Shadda Corwin, Walaylah Corwin, Anna Redding, Emily Redding and Chase Corwin; one great-grandchild, Samuel Smith.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with Chaplain Deon Louw and Reverend Paul Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family is at their respective homes.
