Shirley Clark Grindstaff

Mrs. Shirley Clark Grindstaff, 81, wife of the late Dallas Wayne Grindstaff, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Born in Carter County, TN, a daughter of the late Sam Clark and the late Nola Woods Clark, Mrs. Grindstaff was a CNA with St Francis Hospital-Downtown for more than twenty-five years and attended New Foundation Church.

Shirley enjoyed traveling especially to the beach, she just loved enjoying life. She will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew her.

Surviving are her three daughters, Vickie Slemp (James) of Mauldin, Angela Thomas of Elizabethton, TN, and Tammy Long (Sam) of Mooresboro, NC; her son Darrell Grindstaff (Kari) of Easley; her brother, Lloyd Clark (Patsy) of Kingsport, TN; four grandchildren, Nicholas Holliday (Lucy), William Thomas (Sarah), Kayleigh Grindstaff and Kaycee Grindstaff; and three great-grandchildren, Liam Thomas, Myla Jo Holliday and Lily Louise Holliday. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Grindstaff was predeceased by a grandson, Nathaniel Thomas; and a sister, Wanda Julian. 

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
