Shirley Ann Boyd Vaughan, 67, of 11 Oak Hill Drive, passed away Sunday January 2, 2011 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Vaughan was born in Greenville, a daughter of the late
Lemuel Franklin and Viola Lyda Boyd. She retired from Greenville Industrial Insulation and was a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, R.L. "Johnny" Vaughan, of the home; two sons, Barry L. Vaughan (Denise), of Travelers Rest and Chris L. Vaughan (Tonya), of Greenville; three sisters, Betty Thompson (Monty), Wilma Weast (David) and Joyce Duncan, all of Greenville; two grandchildren, Casey Marie Vaughan, of Pickens and Kelly Ann Vaughan, of Greenville.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Al Masters and Mr. Ronnie Wallace officiating. Entombment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens - Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Chris Vaughan, 104 Eastbourne Road, Greenville.
Memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 328 Furman Hall Road, Greenville, SC 29609.
