Sonya Gay von Tungeln Senn

Sonya Gay von Tungeln Senn, 55, widow of Tommy Senn, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in Central.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of Clemson University Professor Emeritus, George von Tungeln of El Paso, Texas and the late Marilyn Ruth Burris von Tungeln. Sonya was a 1985 graduate of Clemson University and was the former owner of Senn's on Sloan Florist Shop in Clemson. She was saved at an early age at Clemson First Baptist Church.

Surviving are brothers, Stuart von Tungeln of Albuquerque, NM and Eric von Tungeln (Stephanie) of El Paso, TX; sisters, Cheryl Johnson (Tim) of Portland, TX and Brenda Mangan (Kevin) of West Union, SC.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home followed by Graveside Services at Woodland Cemetery on the campus of Clemson University.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to College Street Baptist Church, 401 S. College Street, Walhalla, SC 29691.
