William Spencer Evans, age 56, left his home in Easley, South Carolina to be in his loving Savior's arms on March 12, 2015.
Born December 12, 1958, in Tampa, Florida, he lived a humble and self-sacrificing life, always giving of his time and talents to serve others. Spencer was a life-long Christian and a member of Second Presbyterian Church of Greenville where he faithfully served his Lord both in his daily life and in the church.
Spencer is survived by his grateful wife, Lora Lee Rudolph Evans;
his children, Daniel Spencer Evans and his wife Meredith Joyce Altman Evans; Matthew Richard Evans and his wife Davis Juliette White Evans; Rebekah Lynn Evans McDaniel and her husband William Douglas McDaniel; and Caleb Charles Evans; also parents Seldon Spencer Evans and Clara Horne Evans; sisters Vickie Evans and Melissa Grossman; and in-laws Karl Richard Rudolph and Linda Lee Odorizzi Rudolph.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Second Presbyterian Church in Greenville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Peru Mission in care of Second Presbyterian Church at 105 River Street, Greenville, SC 29601, or may be made online through spcgreenville.org.
