Spencer Keith Morton, 54, of Easley, South Carolina entered into the presence of the Lord on Friday, January 12, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina, the son of the late Charles Harrison Morton and the late Vicki Morton. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Christy Henson.
Spencer was a kind and humble man that placed his family first in everything he did. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He always knew the right thing to say when you needed it most. While he could bring humor to any situation, he never missed an opportunity to encourage others. His two favorite times of the year were the annual family beach vacation and Christmas because it meant everyone would be together at his favorite place or celebrating his favorite time.
Spencer was a Real Estate Broker and General Manager of the Jeff Cook Real Estate Office in Greenville. He found his professional passion in helping families purchase a home. He always placed other people’s needs above his own. He loved his work colleagues, and they were like a second family to him.
Spencer lived his life in a way that the presence of the Lord was evident. He did not have to use many words, as his life loudly proclaimed what the Lord meant to him and how much he loved the Lord.
Left to cherish Spencer’s many wonderful memories are his wife, Andrea Clark Morton; his two sons, Connor Morton (Kelsey) and Nathan Morton (Haley); a daughter, Madelyn Morton Ammons (Jay); one precious grandson, Parker Morton; a brother, Chuck Morton (Renee); three sisters,
Melanie Jeffries (Steve), Stephanie Morton (Derrick), Heather Cantrell (Abram).
The family will receive friends between 12:30 – 1:45 PM on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home - 305 W. Main St., Easley, SC 29640. A memorial service to honor Spencer’s life will be held at 2 PM following the visitation at Robinson Funeral Home- 305 W. Main St., Easley, SC 29640.
Spencer’s life touched so many people and he will be missed, but not forgotten. He will always live in the hearts of everyone that loved him.
