SSgt (Ret) Adolphus Martin "Pete" Reeves, 75, of 106 Fox Chase Road and husband of Kathleen Roper Reeves, died Monday, June 18, 2007 at his residence.

Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Fields "Babe" and Sarah Breazeale Reeves, he was a retired Staff Sgt in the US Army after 28 years of service, having served in both Korea and Vietnam. He was a former employee with Saco Lowell and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, Mark Reeves of Easley; a daughter, Diane Dills of Easley; three brothers, Bill Reeves of Wellford, Carl Reeves of Greenville, Ray Reeves of Pelzer; two sisters, Thelma Fletcher of Easley, Annie Mae McCree Tennessee; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Glen Reeves, three brothers, Eugene Reeves, Charles Reeves, Edward Reeves; and a sister, Edna Cox.

A graveside service with full military honors will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Robert Griswold officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
