Stanley Peter Menchyk, 78, of Pineview Drive, husband of the late Bobbie Black Menchyk, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018.
Born in Cleveland, OH, he was a son of the late John and Iona Luther Menchyk.
Mr. Menchyk was formerly employed with Bonitz Contracting in Greenville. He was a US Air Force Veteran and member of the V.F.W. Post 5093 in Easley. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing and dancing.
Surviving are his sons, William Joseph Menchyk and wife, Marie and Stanley J. Menchyk and his fiance', Tina; grandchildren, Kandice Menchyk, Addi Menchyk and John Menchyk, Jr.; great grandchildren, Kinley and Presley Randle; a brother, John "Butch" Menchyk; and a special friend and caregiver, Deann Stevens.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Charles Cooper.
A Celebration of Mr. Menchyk's life will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 3:30 PM until 4:45 PM at the funeral home.
