Stella Jane McAlister Byers, 78, of 139 Orchard Road, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at her home.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Ed and Marie Allen McAlister.
Mrs. Byers was retired from The Singer Corporation (Ryobi) after 35 years of dedicated service. She loved her family, gardening, growing and caring for her flowers.
Surviving are her husband, B.F. Byers of the home; her daughter, Elaine Byers of the home; and brothers, Tommy McAlister of Greenville and Steve McAlister of Easley.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Raines; and brothers, Bobby, Harry, and Red McAlister.
No services will be held, but the family request that friends and family are welcome to come by the home.
