Stephen Bruce Hildebrant

Stephen Bruce Hildebrant, 71, husband of the late Pauline Marie Dufault, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022.

Born in Somerset, NY, a son of the late Claire A. Hildebrant and the late Martha Courser Hildebrant, he was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed woodworking, hunting, the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with his family. He proudly served his country in the US Army, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Steve was a volunteer firefighter and later became Deputy Chief and County Fire Commissioner for Hemlock, NY.

Survivors include a son, Steven Hildebrant of Rochester, NY; a daughter, Melanie Williams (Derek) of Powdersville; a brother, Barney Hildebrant (Phyllis) of Barker, NY; and grandchildren, Olivia Williams and Connor Williams.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Douglas Hildebrant; and a sister, Linda Roll.
