Stephen Edward Lee

Stephen Edward Lee, 71, of Central, husband of the late Terri Lee, passed away July 8, 2026.

Born in Quincey, MA and grew up in West Palm Beach, FL, he was the son of the late William Edward Lee, Jr. and Jean Ruth Bursey Lee. Steve joined the United States Air Force out of high school and served as a jet engine mechanic in California, Delaware and the Philippines. Following his military service, he became a plumber and handyman. Steve enjoyed racing, fishing, music, football, and grilling. He was most proud of being a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to all who met him. Steve loved the Lord and was a beloved part of his church community at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Parker (John) of Maine and Haley Lee (Steven) of Pickens; grandchildren, Gianna Parker, Reece Parker, Loretta Todd, and Ford Todd; stepson, Gregory Daum; step-grandson, Lance Daum.

Steve is predeceased by his wife, parents, and siblings, Wayne Lee and Billie-Jeane Lee.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 17, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary with Rev. Joey Gambrell officiating.
