Stephen "Steve" Wilson

Reverend Stephen (Steve) Wilson. 72, husband of Audrey Denise Allen Wilson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 10,2021.

Born in Travelers Rest, a son of the late Worley Wilson and the late Beatrice Rice Wilson, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great -grandfather who enjoyed witnessing to other people, reading his Bible, Gardening and enjoying the beauty of nature, collecting vintage model cars, and creative writing that became published in 2006. He graduated from Slater Marietta High School in 1968 and pursued studies in Religion at North Greenville College, Fruitland Bible Institute and Furman University. He was a retired minister that served for Shady Grove Baptist Church, Agnew Road Baptist Church, and Providence Baptist Church, all in Greenville. He was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church in Easley.

Surviving, in addition to his loving wife of fifty one years, a cherished daughter, Stacy Amanda Fowler( Michael Chad) of Easley; brothers Heyward Wilson, Luther Wilson (Doris), Bobby Joe Wilson, Arthur Wilson (Sandra), Michael Wilson, Eugene Wilson( Patricia) ;sisters; Shelby Jean Ellison, Doris O'shields (Patrick), Juanita Byrd (Rodney)and Peggy King (Johnny) ; grandchildren Kelsey Brown (Michael), Michael Fowler, Mason Fowler and Sean Hart ; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joshua and Rosanna Grace along with many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, James Wilson.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:45pm at Robinson Funeral Home on Thursday, October 14, 2021 with service to follow at 3:00pm.
