Steven Hayden Cato, 56, formerly of Clemson and husband of Suzy McClellan Cato, died Friday, December 3, 2010 in Hendersonville, NC from complication from Dementia.
Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was a son of the late Lewis F. and Julia Antley Cato. Steve graduated from D.W. Daniel High School in 1973 and Clemson University. He was a landscape contractor and a member of Lawrence Chapel UMC. He was a Christian, Father, Husband, Friend and landscaper.
Surviving is his wife, Suzy of 49 Churchill Downs, Greenville, SC 29615; two sons, Jon Cato of Clemson and Mark Cato of Central.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Lewis F. Cato.
Memorial services will be 1 PM, Monday at Lawrence Chapel UMC.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM, Sunday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lawrence Chapel UMC, 2101 Six Mile Highway Central, SC 29630.
