Steven Dozier Haymond

Steven Dozier Haymond, Jr., 19, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017.

Steven was the son of Steve and Ester Haymond of West Columbia. Steven was a 2015 graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School where he played varsity baseball. He was a rising junior at Clemson University where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Anyone who knew him, knew he was an avid fan of the Clemson Tigers. Steven was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Columbia where he had been an active member of the youth group and served as a youth elder.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his sister, Maria, of Atlanta, his grandparents, Shan and Mackie Prickett of West Columbia and Roy and Jessie Haymond of Centenary.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Tom and Estercita Ferguson of Clemson.

The family will receive visitors at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1715 Broad River Road, Columbia from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21st.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, at the church.

Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery (Cemetery Hill) in Clemson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday,
June 24, 2017.
