Sue Tollison Caldwell, 78, of Easley, wife of the late James Derek Caldwell, passed peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2022, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Marcus Durham Tollison and Sara Roper Tollison.

Mrs. Caldwell was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed traveling, crafting, and spending time with her family and friends. She attended Easley High School and graduated from Bob Jones High School. She was a homemaker and member of Glenwood Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, Mark Caldwell (Terri) of Liberty, Kim Gilstrap (Kevin), David Caldwell (Sandy), Melissa Caldwell-Smith (Jason) and Dillon Caldwell all of Easley; grandchildren, Brandy Caldwell, Kristi Clements (Brandon), Erica Bryant (Clint), Alex Gilstrap (Amanda), Elliott Caldwell (Kylie), Andrew Gilstrap (Natalie), Blake Holland (Misty), Dustyn Caldwell, Alyssa Moore and Jade Smith; great grandchildren, Ethan, Clara and Caleb Bryant, Cannon and Sutton Caldwell, Sully, Remi, Isla and Ames Clements, Sawyer Maddox, and Jack Gilstrap, Jubilee Gilstrap, Kasen Holland and soon to arrive, Brixten Holland; her bonus great grandchildren, Haley, SJ and Easton; her sister,  Beth Stewart (Jonathan) of Chapel Hill, NC; and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 PM in Arial United Methodist Church Cemetery in Easley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arial United Methodist Church, 829 Gentry Memorial Highway, Easley, SC 29640.

The family will be at their respective homes.
