Sue Alexander Cox, 80, wife of the late, James Thomas Cox, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Cottingham Hospice House.

Mrs. Cox was born in Pickens County and was the daughter of the late Claude Oscar and Leora Bell Alexander.  She was a member of Seneca Church of Christ.

Surviving are her son, Rick Cox and his wife, Sherry of Homestead, FL; a brother, David (Bud) Alexander and his wife, Whilamenia of Six Mile; grand daughters, Heidi, Tisha and Courtney Cox; great grandchildren, Brandt Vogel, Victoria and Amari Cox.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Charlie and Claude Alexander and sisters, Nina Alexander, Mae Watson, Mary Young, Grace Gibson, Martha McAbee and Ellen Stokes.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
