Sue Mauldin Grant, 76, of 118 Avalon Circle, died Friday, January 2, 2009, at Hospice of the Upstate.

Born in Pickens County, Mrs. Grant was a daughter of the late James Ben and Daisy Smith Mauldin. She retired from American ENKA. Mrs. Grant was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church, where she belonged to the Sara Smith Sunday School Class.

Surviving are her husband, Billy C. Grant of the home; two sons, David Grant and wife, Paula, and Bud Grant and wife, Kathy, all of Easley; one brother, Ed (Nita) Mauldin of LaGrange, Georgia; one sister, Jo (Gene) Bagwell of Chesapeake, Virginia; three grandchildren, Mitchell A. Grant, Casey E. Grant and Jamie A. Grant; a sister-in-law, Edna A. Mauldin of Easley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grant was predeceased by three brothers, Douglas, Charles, and William Mauldin; and three sisters, Frances Doxey, Juanita Mauldin, and Betty Mains.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Rev. Rodney Jeanes and the Rev. Paul Turner, officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Escort of Honor will be the Sara Smith Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be from 1:30 until 3:00 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family is at the residence.
