Susan Myrnette Warren Kimbrell, 61, of 2 Kilgore Street, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Susan was born in Central, the oldest daughter of G. W. Warren and the late Frances Louise Berry Warren. She graduated from Easley High School and received her nursing degree from Greenville Technical College. Susan was a licensed nurse at NHC of Mauldin and attended New Image Outreach. After having her two sons, whom she loved and adored, Susan happily stayed home and devoted herself to raising them, they were her life. She was a strong woman of God and fought hard to overcome cancer. She had just recently returned back to work as a nurse when her courageous battle began.


In addition to her father of Easley, she is survived by her husband and best friend, Larry Daniel Kimbrell of the home; two sons, L. Daniel Kimbrell, Jr. and David Michael Kimbrell, both of Greenville; five brothers, George Warren (Dee), Edward Warren (Lisa), Joe Warren, Cecil Warren (Judy), and Joel Warren (Pam); three sisters, Marilyn Reynolds (Buddy), Carol Martin (Charlie), and Charlotte McConnell (Tim).

The family will receive friends from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family is at the home of her father, G.W. Warren, 406 Highland Circle, Easley, SC 29640.
