Susan G. Sumner, of 100 Sitton Drive, Easley, died Thursday March 5, 2009 at her residence.
Survivors include a daughter, Olivia Leigh Weatherly ; her father, Ozie L. Garrett ; sisters, Gwen Martin, Laurie Hunter and Beth Patterson ; two beloved grandchildren, Christiahna Scott and Faith Weatherly. Ms. Sumner was predeceased by her mother, Donna S. Garrett and her husband, Jerry Sumner.
A Memorial Service will be 3:30 pm Sunday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Private burial will follow at a later time in Union, SC. Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until 3:30 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Omit flowers. The acceptance and love Ms. Sumner received from the staff and members of her church, 5 Point Fellowship, changed her outlook on life and her hope for the future. The family requests that memorials be made to 5 Point Fellowship, 315 West Main Street, Easley, SC 29640 or to Home With A Heart, 220 James Mattison Road, Liberty, SC 29657.
