Sybil Lesley

Sybil Masters Lesley, 75, of 219 Botany Road, wife of Roy J. Lesley, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Greenville Hospital System North Greenville Medical Campus.
Born May 31, 1932, she was a daughter of Leila McGimpsey Masters of Easley and the late Alonzo Floyd Masters.
Mrs. Lesley was a Certified Professional Secretary and was active in the National Secretaries Association, now the International Association of Administrative Professionals. She was retired from Ivey's department store and J.E. Sirrine Co. She was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 58 years and her mother are her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and John Owings; two grandsons, Matthew Owings and Christopher Owings; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Vonnie and Jim Wylie, Pat and Waymon Knox, and Lynda and Wayne Duncan; her brothers and sister-in-law, Randy Masters and Rick and Celeste Masters; and many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lesley was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Sloan.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home in downtown Easley, with the Rev. Carlton Cleveland officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park on Woodruff Road.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
