Sybil C. Miller, 72, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Pendleton Manor in Greenville.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Wilks "Bruno" and Gladys Duncan Miller. Sybil was a graduate of Daniel High School and retired as an administrative assistant at the Brooks Center at Clemson University. She was the former owner and operator of the UPS Store in Clemson. She was a very accomplished vocal performer and appeared in many productions of the Clemson Little Theatre and the Oconee Theatre. She was a former member of the Greater Clemson Chamber of Commerce and in addition to her performing she wrote music and poetry and loved to read.
Surviving are two daughters, Leigh Anna Kennemore of Easley, SC and Erica Lynn James of Lyman; brothers, Roger Miller (Mary) of Lamar, SC, Lane Miller (Jan) of Clemson, William "Whirl" Miller (Bett) of Folly Beach, Ray Miller (Cathy) of Olathe, Kansas, and Steve Miller of Clemson; grandsons, Kyle Patterson (Amanda), Alex Patterson, Christopher Blake and Erik Blake; and great grandson, Parker Patterson. Sybil also leaves behind many nieces and nephews; an abundance of friends; and her two 14 year old cats, Phoebe and Chewy.
Memorial services will be 11 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home chapel.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Clemson Little Theatre or Oconee Theatre.
