Sybil Ausburn Phillips

Sybil Ausburn Phillips, 70, loving wife of Robert Phillips, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Powdersville, SC, she was the daughter of late Homer H. Ausburn and the late Morene Prichett Ausburn. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Piedmont First Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her daughter, Kelly Cape (Brandon) of Piedmont; sisters, Maxie Smith and Elaine Duncan, both of Powdersville; and grandchildren, Morgan Brust and Ashlyn Brust.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Pasty Ausburn, and four brothers, Ralph Ausburn, Randall Ausburn, Charles Ausburn and Edward Ausburn.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021 at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. Burial will follow at Graceland West Cemetery. Scroll to the video player below to view the service.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Funeral Home, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Piedmont First Baptist Church, 8 First Baptist Church Road, Piedmont SC.
