Sybil Lee Reeves Smith, 89, of Easley and wife of the late Charles Bert "C.B." Smith, went to join her Heavenly Father, Wednesday February 23, 2011.

Mrs. Smith was born in Pickens County, SC, a daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl Thomas Reeves. She was raised in the West End area and then in the country off of Old Easley Bridge Road. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and raising her children. She was an active member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, where she served in the nursery. She made sure all of her children knew her Lord and were in church every Sunday. She retired from Forest Acres Middle School cafeteria where she enjoyed the children and made many friends.

She is temporarily leaving behind her children, Shelby Smith Foster and husband, Larry, of Greenville; Jimmy Smith and wife, Pat, of Powdersville, Bobby Smith and wife, Charlene, of Greenville and Steve Smith and wife, Theresa, of Simpsonville; a brother, Glenn Reeves, of Easley; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Smith; a granddaughter, Stephanie Smith; a brother, Eugene Reeves and a daughter-in-law, Norma Smith.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Family members are at their respective homes.
