Mrs. Sylvia Joy Wheat Yoder, 80, loving wife of Robert Haldene Yoder, of Easley, formerly of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Foothills Presbyterian Nursing Home.

Mrs. Yoder was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 18, 1935 to the late Melvin Clarence and Lillian Mae Spencer Wheat. She loved spending time with her family and watching TV shows with Robert. Robert and her were avid travelers, taking 5 cruises through Europe and other destinations. She was a former Account Manager with AT&T in San Antonio and was of the Presbyterian Faith.

In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Yoder is survived by a son; Robert Scott Yoder (Valerie), of Powdersville, and three grandchildren; Matthew C. Shannon of Bellingham, WA.; Alexa B. Yoder of Powdersville; and Blake H. Yoder of Powdersville..

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter; Shannon Leigh Shannon; and a brother; M.C. Wheat, Jr.

Private Memorial Services will be held.
