Talmadge Samuel Swayngham, 57, of 726 Lake Road, died Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Baptist Hospital Easley.

Born in Laurens County, the son of the late Roy Samuel and Evelyn Inez Simmons Swayngham, Mr. Swayngham was a manager in the textile industry and was a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam.

Surviving are his wife, Debra Adams Swayngham of the home; a daughter, Samanatha Lynn Boyce of Hickory Tavern; a bother, Dennis Swayngham of Clinton; a sister, Nora Samples of Clinton; two grandchildren, Ricky Boyce and Frankie Stockman; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William B. and Annette S. Adams of Joanna. He was predeceased by a daughter, Dana Michelle Stockman.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday in Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Clinton.

The family is at the residence.
