Talon Kade Gambrell

Talon Kade Gambrell, 27, of Piedmont, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of Barry Neil and Kay Sizemore Gambrell.

Talon graduated from Wren High School, Class of 2009. He received his Associate's degree in Nursing from Greenville Technical College and graduated in December from USC-Upstate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He was employed with St. Francis Hospital and was a member of Tanglewood Baptist Church.

Talon was a loving and caring person. His favorite things were trips to Disney World and college football games, especially Gamecock football. Mostly, he loved being with Cara.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his fiancé, Cara Elizabeth Smith; his brother, Bronson Gambrell; maternal grandmother, Martha Sizemore; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Gambrell; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his canine companion, Zorro.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Roy Sizemore, Jr., and his paternal grandfather, Doyle Alvin Gambrell.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 4:30pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:30pm - 4:15pm at the funeral home.
