Pickens

Tammy Denise Brooks, a loving and caring soul, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

Tammy, too eager to wait, was born early in Anderson hospital to the late Loretha Phillips Gossett, and Furman Walter Gossett Jr.

Tammy had a variety of interests that brought her joy. She loved spending her free time fishing, cheering on her favorite baseball and football teams (Go Tigers!), gardening, and solving puzzles. Tammy had a special love for her little dogs, finding companionship and happiness in their presence. She also loved her garden and little birds, which she tended to as lovingly as she did everything else in her life. Above all, Tammy's greatest accomplishment was her family, whom she loved fiercely.

She is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Charles E. Brooks; son, Joshua Brooks; daughter, Jessica Roberts; brothers Martin D. Gossett, Justin Gossett, and Travis Gossett; sister, Sandra G. Collins; grandchildren, Lucas Roberts, Chance Roberts, Maggie Roberts, and Harper Roberts.

A memorial service will be held at West End Baptist Church of Easley on Sunday August 25th, starting at 2 PM.

Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
