TANNIE MARIE BROWNING TEAL - Central, SC
Tannie Marie Browning Teal, 68, of 785 Madden Bridge Road, Central, SC 29630, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Luther Browning of Glenwood, GA, and Geneva Nan Reynolds of Mt. Vernon, GA.
She was a member of Central First Baptist Church and a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired as Director of Recruitment for the Office of Human Resources at Clemson University.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Teal, Sr. of the home; daughter, Nancy Teal Thomas and husband, Dr. Gill P. Thomas, of Clinton, SC; two sons, Lt Col James E. Teal, Jr. and wife, Brenda, and Lt Col Gregory O. Teal and wife, Cecelia, all of Montgomery, AL; ten grandchildren, Deana and Brian Giunta of Simpsonville, SC, Karen and Allen Wham of Columbia, SC, Caroline and Patterson Thomas of Columbia, SC, James "Jay" E. Teal, III and Rebecca Teal of Montgomery, AL; Gregory II, Patrick, Daniel, and John Michael Teal of Montgomery, AL; one great granddaughter, Lily Marie Guinta; one sister, Gerry Davis of Aberdeen, NC; two brothers, Robert Reynolds of Robbins, NC and Louie Reynolds of Mt. Vernon, GA.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Central First Baptist Church followed by burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, March 10, 2006, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central, SC.
